Wow, what a night!!! Monday night we had an incredible praise and worship experience. WOW … Women of Worship - women leading women into the presence of God. If you weren’t there you sure missed it. But I promise we’ll get another one of these on the books soon!
Basking in His presence is awesome, the anointing of His Spirit is phenomenal, and experiencing the dynamic of His healing power is remarkable, but there was a component from last night that cannot be overlooked. The diversity in that room spanned generations. When I saw young, maybe ten year old girls on their knees worshipping with moms, grandmas and college girls, my heart was overwhelmed. Psalm 145:4 says “One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.” What a blessing to see so many generations praising the One True God and declaring His mighty acts!
When you hear me talk about modeling, this is the picture. How will they know unless they see us practicing what we preach? We serve a God who loves us no matter what stage we are in our lives. Young, old or in between, he is right there to walk with us through every trial and every victory!
Pastor Raycheen did a tremendous job of using her God given gift to lead us. We’ve included in today’s blog the confession statements that we recited last night. Try saying these statements in the mirror every morning and every evening. See if your day doesn’t go just a little bit better!!!
