From Pastor Raycheen Sims

Let’s face it. We all have issues. The only problem is that if most of us got real we would have to admit our issues have us. We are bound, paralyzed and rendered downright helpless in far too many cases. We have said the words, “That’s just the way I am”. So many times we actually believe them, and yet our true woman within us still screams to get out. She will not be silenced. She is determined to be healthy, whole and victorious. Let her out, ladies. The life you truly want to live awaits you. Truly you are ready. If you have come this far, why stop now? Take a deep breath and know you are not alone in the struggle to get past your issues.

Read Luke 8:43-48 (Amplified Bible)

43And a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years and had spent all her living upon physicians, and could not be healed by anyone, 44Came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment, and immediately her flow of blood ceased. 45And Jesus said, Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter and those who were with him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on every side! 46But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I perceived that [healing] power has gone forth from Me. 47And when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came up trembling, and, falling down before Him, she declared in the presence of all the people for what reason she had touched Him and how she had been instantly cured. 48And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your confidence and trust in Me) has made you well! Go (enter) into peace (untroubled, undisturbed well-being).

She took a deep breath and moved forward, breaking past the invisible hands that had held her back for so long. She was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Today is the day for something different to happen. Call it what you want – desperation, determination.

How do we get past our problems and out of our present mold?

1. Dare to believe you have a choice and go after what you want.

2. Talk to yourself.

3. Press past convention.

4. Claim your victory.

What you settle for is what you will receive. The Spirit who is able to envision a victorious outcome will chart its course, defying the odds and arriving at its destination.
